The OTT 1414 is a compact four channel SDI to fiber transmitter designed to optimize the distribution of uncompressed broadcast quality video signals over long distances.
When paired with the 4-channel fiber to SDI receiver (e.g. yellobrik ORR 1404) it creates a very cost-effective 4-channel optical transmission system for signals up to 12G-SDI (4096×2160 @ 60Hz)) preserving full uncompressed quality. (each channel requires dedicated fiber connection)
The OTT 1414 has four fully independent channels and each will auto-detect and re-clock any 270Mbit/s, 1.5Gbit/s, 3Gbit/s, 6Gbit/s and 12Gbit/s SDI source before optical transmission. The module is fully compatible with 3G Level A and Level B formats.
Like all yellobriks, the OTT 1414 is fully compatible with the RFR 1200 rack frame which accommodates up to 14 modules. This allows up to 56 channels in 2RU of rack space for system installations.
