The OET 1910 is a compact electrical Ethernet to fiber optic converter, designed to extend the reach of 1Gbit/s or 10Gbit/s electrical Ethernet networks over long distances.

When paired with another OET 1910 (using two fiber links) you have a simple cost-effective Ethernet extender solution for distances up to 20km* providing a stable, high-speed optical Ethernet connection between locations.

Tow versions are available:

OET 1910 – for Snglemode fiber, supporting distanced up to 20km* (12.4 mile)

OET 1910 MM – for Multimode fiber, supporting distances up to 300m* (984 feet)

This module is a simple “pass through” converter, meaning no network speed changes are possible, the same network speed (10G or 1G) must be on each end of the link

*Distance is an approximation. Actual distances achieved can be longer or shorter depending on the type of fiber cable and accumulated optical losses in the fiber link. Determine link losses and perform optical budget calculations to ensure correct operation.
