Fiber Splitters

Fiber splitters are like distribution amplifiers, in that they will spit an incoming signal into multiple identical paths. These are passive devices and require no power and unlike electrical distribution amplifiers these do not boost signal strength, in fact they do the opposite, the incoming signal power is divided into the outputs resulting in reduced signals strength
