OET 1514
1GbE Ethernet to Fiber Optic Transceiver
The OET 1514 is a compact three-port Ethernet switch featuring two standard RJ45 ports and one duplex fiber connection. It is designed to extend 10/100/1000 Ethernet signals over long distances via a constant 1 Gbit/s optical link.
For compatibility with legacy systems, each Ethernet port supports either auto-negotiation (10/100/1000) or a fixed 10 Mbit/s setting. Auto MDI/MDI-X (crossover detection) is available on all ports. These configuration options are easily managed via the onboard DIP switch.
This module includes a mini USB port for real-time monitoring (using yelloGUI or LYNX Centraal software) and firmware updates.
Two versions are available:
- OET 1514 for Singlemode fiber
- OET 1514 MM for Multimode fiber

Note: These modules require two fiber interconnections, one for RX data and the other for TX data. For applications using a single fiber connection please use the OBD 1514 E kit which uses a single WDM bidirectional fiber link up to 10km*
