Weiterstadt, Germany – LYNX Technik, provider of modular signal processing interfaces, announces its new yellobrik SPG 1708 – sync pulse generator with genlock.
The yellobrik SPG 1708 is a portable solution to sync your video signals. The genlock feature ensures the module can lock to any HD or SD Sync input, with full cross-lock functionality, even across unmatched standards.
The module provides 3x HD tri-level sync outputs as well as 3x SD bi-level sync outputs and supports all SD, HD, and composite (PAL / NTSC) video formats. A separate audio sync output can be switched between 48 KHz Word Clock or Digital Audio Reference (DARS).
Ultra-stability is achieved using precision temperature controlled oscillators with an accuracy of 2ppm.
As with all yellobriks, the SPG 1708 is designed for simple and straightforward operation, whereby all controls, settings and instructions can be easily understood and accessed from the front panel. Plus, it is yelloGUI compatible – LYNX Technik’s free yellobrik software, providing users with a host of advanced settings and adjustments.
In standalone mode the SPG 1708 can be used a studio reference generator, a compact economical substitute for traditional larger rack mount equipment. It is also at home in OB applications, mobile editing, post production, and professional AV applications that require a stable HD or SD reference signal. It can also be used with the yellobrik rack frame for larger systems, which mounts up to 14 yellobrik modules with full power redundancy.
