The PVD 5400 O is a 12G-SDI frame synchronizer for professional applications in the Broadcast and Post Production industry. It support 12G-SDI video formats up to 4K DCI in 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 chroma sub-sampling as well as 10 and 12-bit depth. The card module can generate Test patterns when no input signal is present.
The frame synchronizer utilizes robust “flywheel” algorithms that will accommodate a wide variety of low quality asynchronous SDI sources. All embedded audio is extracted and delayed automatically to match the video processing delay. The PVD 5400 provides up to 30 frames of programmable output delay adjustable in frames, lines and pixels.
The module is fully compatible with LynxCentraal. It can be configured, controlled and updated using Windows or MacOS.
