12G SDI Fiber Optic Transmitter 40km
The OH-TX-4-12G-LC optical transmitter is a 12G-SDI fiber plug in option for select LYNX Technik products.
This SFP module facilitates the conversion of an electrical SDI signal into an optical signal for transmission over a singlemode fiber link.
Wavelength is fixed at 1310nm. The module supports 1.485Gbit (1.5G) / 2.97Gbit (3G) / 5.94Gbit (6G) and 11.88Gbit (12G) SDI signals conforming to SMPTE 2082, SMPTE 424M, 292M.
This SFP has high power (+3dBm) making it more suitable for systems with longer fiber runs or higher link losses and can support distances up to 40km*
A socket, or “cage” is provided for the SFP in the supporting LYNX Technik products for easy installation or upgrade. The SFP is hot swappable
A compatible fiber receiver SFP would be the OH-RX-12G-LC
